Y1 Yorkshire Wildlife Trip03May2018

Dear Parent/Carer, VISIT Yorkshire Wildlife Park DATE Thursday 3rd May. Arrive at school as normal, returning to school for approximately 4:30pm During next half term, the topic we are studying is ‘Safari Adventure’. In order to get the most out of this topic and to celebrate all the hard work the children have been doing, we are visiting Yorkshire Wildlife Park. We recognise all visits involve a cost but we do feel that they are extremely worthwhile. Visits are only possible with your support and cannot go ahead without the essential finance. The cost per pupil will be £15.50 to cover the coach and the entrance fee. In order for your child to participate, please pay via ParentPay by Friday 20th April 2018, this will also constitute consent. Each child will require: - A school uniform. - A packed lunch (no glass bottles or sweets), preferably in a carrier bag for easy disposal. - Suitable footwear and weather appropriate accessories e.g. a sun hat. We are able to offer a packed lunch – consisting of sandwich, carrot/cucumber sticks, piece of home-made cake or biscuit, piece of fruit and a drink for all children in receipt of ‘Pupil Premium’ and Universal Infant Free School Meals. If you would like school to provide a packed lunch for your child as above please email: admin@bradshaw.calderdale.sch.uk before Friday 20th April 2018 at the very latest, otherwise we will assume that you are providing a packed lunch for your child. Any travel or sickness tablets should be given before children come to school. Tablets for the return journey should be in a named container/envelope, and should be handed to an adult for safekeeping. We would be very grateful for parent helpers for this school visit, if you are interested, please email bethany.hofton@bradshaw.calderdale.sch.uk or lauren.gledhill@bradshaw.calderdale.sch.uk. Thank you, Miss Hofton and Miss Gledhill
